Alt Characters In Legion Rules

Due to the way that Legions are set-up in Aion, there will have to be rules for the creation of alternate characters that go into the legion. This will not go into effect until Launch. BETA characters are not subject to the following restrictions.

Any person is allowed to have 1 character in guild, free of charge. Alternate characters in the legion are subject to a tax, due to there only being a certain amount of characters allowed in a legion at one time, and adding more characters costs kinah.

Rules that must be followed -

1st Character = Free
2nd Character = 5,000kinah
3rd Character = 10,000kinah
4th Character = 20,000kinah
5th Character = 40,000kinah
6th Character = 80,000kinah

Please do not have more than six characters per real life person in the legion at one time. HOWEVER, if someone makes substantial amounts of contribution and can show that having more characters than this is beneficial, then I may allow it on a case-by-case basis. For instance if you contribute 1000 legion points from PvP combat, per character, per week; attend events and pay all the necessary money; then I wouldn't have a problem with you adding another character.

Please do not freak out by these numbers. The truth of the matter is that this is not all that difficult to contribute. Money is made rather easily in game (from what I've seen so far, and should the economy start to reflect badly, these numbers may be subject to adjustment, up or down).

Payment for your alternate characters can be made by simply sending the money to Sylestial through the mailbox, through trade, or by depositing it directly into the legion vault, which is located in the back of the Gold Depository in Pandemonium.

I think you have to have permition to use the legion vault, as I was trying to use it today, and it would not let me.

Oh thanks for letting me know! I'm sure there's a setting that allows people to do that, I'll have to find it next BETA weekend.

No no no! I'm sorry I wasn't clear on that. It's just per character. You only have to pay it one time. If you ask to have a second char put into the legion, you send 5000kinah and then they get a legion invite. It's just one time. ^_^
