The Beginning of the End...

~Cut scene~

Crimson eyes went wide as another booming sound lit up the sky and the entire tower shook. "What have you done!?" Came a sing-song voice with echoing undertones. "I have ensured there will be no cease fire. The Balaur will be crushed beneath us!" The malice in the voice spat towards him seemed over-lapped with sounds like claps of thunder. The slender figure was tossed by another harsh explosion shaking the Tower of Eternity from top to bottom. He found himself landing harshly at the feet of a man he once called friend.

The next moment would be a blur as a swift booted foot would connect to his temple. His vision would swim and he'd find himself crawling towards a window. With a hand outstretched upwards his vision was fading. The explosions were all around him by now. "Aion...Dearest Aion!" His voice sounded so foreign to him, far away and fading. "Help them...help them see..." And then, all was blackness, nothingness, oblivion.

In another day, another time, a young Asmodian would awake with a start. With a slender hand clutched to a pale chest he would attempt to catch his breath. The nightmares were coming more often and more frequently. As he attempted to make sense of it all in a world torn asunder, he found that 'Truth' from the fading God Aion was far more frightening than Dogmatic fiction.

Crimson Resurrection was created by the talented Moon Dancer Sylestial and his hot-headed brother, Sydarahai. Plagued by nightmares and voices calling from beyond; they are convinced the God Aion is sending select Chosen Asmodians on a special mission to end the wars once and for all.

Given a vision of the destruction of the Tower of Eternity, the brothers believe the Elyos to be behind the Tower's destruction. The founders of several houses that would later become Asmodian, became aware of a shocking truth. Believing the Balaur to be brothers since they too were created by the God Aion, the Founders attempted to sway their Elyos brethren into a cease fire. The Elyos Founders were enraged the Asmodian Founders would think to compare them all like blood relations, hatched an intricate plan to crush opposition of the war and then finally the Balaur resistance itself.

Elyos spies went to the Balaur to inform them Asmodian delegates had betrayed them. Offering to side with the Balaur they led them to the Tower of Eternity and let them attack. Publicly the Elyos announced that it was just as they feared! The Balaur were barbarians and yet again they were attacking, but something within the plot went terribly wrong. The Elyos Founders underestimated the strength of their Balaur adversaries and through the fighting the Tower of Eternity was almost completely destroyed.

Now the war has progressed to the point each side has all but forgotten why they began warring in the first place. The Crimson Resurrection is a sect of individuals led by warriors who claim they can still hear God Aion's song. He speaks in whispers upon winds stained with horror and blood. Will you help rejoin Aion with his beloved children?
